Hi, I’m Jenny

I’m passionate about the human side of projects and change and I help organisations really understand the needs of users and customers to deliver highly successful projects. I’m qualified and experienced in business analysis and business change management and I’m fascinated to explore how aspects of marketing, UX and strategy can be combined with these skills to deliver really effective, user-focussed change.

In my own time, I’m a part time student of philosophy: I love the challenge of taking a new topic and breaking it down, and getting to grips with complex arguments. Philosophy teaches you to think, and what could be better than that?

But I love all kinds of learning and, when time permits, I enjoy doing MOOCs and courses in a diverse range of subjects. I’ll be talking about some of these courses here.

Okay, so that’s what I do. But who am I?

I live in the UK and I’m married to M who is a little bit eccentric. I’m happiest when I’m by trees or lakes or the sea. I prefer autumn to summer, coffee to tea, savoury to sweet, and I like quiet stillness. I don’t have a TV and I don’t like movies, and I love the smell of books. You might say I’m an old fashioned girl at heart.

But I’m also a little bit of a gadget geek and one of the things I’m known for is using an iPad for everything, from note taking to studying and drawing. I’ll be talking more about mobile productivity here, too.

Welcome to my site…
